Situé à proximité immédiate d’un collège et d’un centre de loisir, le programme du Pôle regroupe une crèche et un relais d’assistantes maternelles.
Le projet s’articule en deux grands volumes de part et d’autre d’un patio central, réunis par l’espace d’accueil et une salle de jeux commune à tous les enfants.
Les espaces de vie des enfants sont orientés à l’Ouest et au Sud, et largement ouverts sur des courettes, qui donnent directement sur le jardin.
Afin de créer un sentiment d’unité avec les bâtiments voisins, le volume de la construction s’inspire du centre de loisirs existant.
Les volumes sont traités en teintes neutres (béton peint de teinte claire et bardage type Fundermax gris métallique).
Des touches de couleurs vives (cadres métalliques des fenêtres et bardage), ainsi qu’un jeu d’ouvertures irrégulières apportent un caractère enfantin au projet.
