Le projet regroupe une crèche et un relais d’assistantes maternelles.
A l’échelle du tissu résidentiel pavillonnaire environnant, il s’intègre sans encombre dans son contexte.
Le projet a été pensé comme un ensemble de « petites maisons » réunies autour d’un patio central. Les espaces réservés aux enfants sont orientés au Sud et à l’Est et largement ouverts sur les espaces verts tandis que les espaces techniques et administratifs sont orientés au Nord et à l’Ouest du bâtiment.
Chaque « maison » est identifiée par sa propre couleur en façade. Afin de différencier le relais de la crèche, le volume abritant le relais est traité en bardage zinc.
L’utilisation du mélange métal et bois pour le traitement des auvents en prolongation du volume apporte au projet une touche contemporaine.
